How do I create an account?

Download TalkU from the App Store or Google Play, open the app, and sign up with email and password, Google Sign-In, or Sign in with Apple.

How do I delete my account?

In the app, go to Settings → Account → Delete Account and follow the confirmation steps. You can also email support@talku.app with the subject line "Account Deletion Request" from your registered email address. We will verify your identity and delete your account and associated personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Why does TalkU request access to my contacts?

Contact access is optional and used only when you choose to import contacts into TalkU for CRM and customer management. You can deny this permission and still use other features.

Why does TalkU use the camera or microphone?

The camera is used for business card scanning and profile photos when you initiate those actions. The microphone is used for voice meeting notes when you start a recording. TalkU does not access the camera or microphone in the background.

Does TalkU track my GPS location?

No. TalkU does not continuously collect real-time GPS location. Address or location details are stored only when you enter them in contact profiles, notes, or meeting records.

How do I turn off notifications?

Go to Settings → Notifications in the app, or disable notifications for TalkU in your device system settings.

Does TalkU share my data with AI services?

Only if you choose to use an AI feature and agree to the in-app consent prompt. Before any data is sent, TalkU explains what data will be shared, names the third-party AI provider, and asks for your permission. You can decline and still use non-AI features. You can withdraw consent anytime in Settings → Privacy → AI Data Sharing. Full details are in our Privacy Policy (Section 5).

How do I request a copy of my data or correct my information?
